One drawing, one place

Elio runs Amorielli's picture desk. He draws the magazine's illustrations and cover art, checks every photograph before it runs, and keeps the register of who made each image and under what licence. Now and then he writes The Sketchbook, a short column about one drawing and the place behind it. A good picture, in his view, should make you want to book the flight.
